Who We Are

Our History

MizShawnie & Friends Inc. have been operating since 2013 in Contra Costa County and surrounding areas. Specializing in the three “E’s”. We Empower, Encourage & Educate our youth to become independent, self-sufficient, and highly motivated. While Young Ladies Camps have been up and running since 2012, Young Kings community have been ongoing since 2023. Our end goal is to aid our youth in being a positive impact to their peers, families, and in their community by partnering with local businesses and schools.

Our Mission

Our team’s mission is to ensure each individual gains an understanding of who they are presently and assist them to become who they aspire to be. By creating healthy spaces for Holistic Healing through Performing Arts, Home Economics, Sports and Entrepreneurship.

YOUNG KINGS

Young Kings Camp (YCK) serves our males ages 8-13.

This camp is year around! Building Confidence, Community and Character with field trips, monthly meetups and workshops.

YOUNG Ladies

Young Ladies Camp (YLC) serves our ladies ages 5-17.

This camp is year around! Building Confidence, Community and Character with field trips, monthly meetups and workshops.

The BLOOM Room

"A Girl's Guide To Growing Up"

The Bloom Room is a place specifically for girls to talk about all things growing up.
